Döhle Yacht Crew is recruiting for a Recruitment Officer to join the yacht recruitment team.

We are looking for a candidate with past recruitment experience, a good understanding of the super yacht industry, in particular maritime qualifications and certification and is focused in providing a first class service to our clients. You will thrive in a fast paced sales environment , be confident in servicing existing client, sales and gaining new business opportunities and meeting monthly targets. Excellent time management and communication skills will be required to liaise with crew and clients, reference checking, search and selection and interviewing forming part of your daily tasks.

This role is a permanent position reporting to the Recruitment Manager.

 

Excellent standard of verbal and written English is essential, preferred English as first language, additional languages being beneficial.

Role:

·         To provide supervision over the Company’s passenger vessel operations.

·         To ensure the smooth and efficient operation and maintenance of vessels in the Company’s managed fleet.

·         To ensure that the vessels are maintained and operated to the Company’s high standards and comply with all statutory, Class and regulatory requirements.

This role will require the successful candidate to travel as per the job requirements.

Candidates:

·         Will have Commerical experience, service on passenger vessels/cruise ships.

·         Will have sailed as Chief Engineer, Master or Staff Captain; prior experience as a superintendent would be an advantage.

·         Should possess a minimum of a Master or Chief Engineer unlimited licence. 

·         Should have Strong communication and interpersonal skills with Commercial awareness,  and excellent interpersonal skills

Role:

·         To provide oversight and direction of the Technical Management activities of the Company.

·         Experienced in working on commercial vessels in the capacity of Chief Engineer; prior service on passenger vessels or commercial yachts would be an advantage.

·         Proven track record in new build, refit projects or superintendence.

·         Sounds understanding of the regulatory environment surrounding commercial vessels and experience as an ISM Internal Auditor.

This role will require the successful candidate to travel as per the job requirement.

Candidates:

·         Should posses Chief Engineer unlimited licence.

·         Strong technical and regulatory experience in the yacht commercial shipping industry.

·         Will possess excellent verbal and communication skills with superb interpersonal and organizational skills.

·         Meticulous attention to detail and a key player with the enthusiasm and willingness to drive the business forward.
