Description:
No MCA licences required but a relevant engineering qualification would be very beneficial.
Relevant engineering knowledge, skills and qualifications within the super yacht industry ideally gained at sea and during yard / build periods.
Experience to work as solo engineer on a new build and remain with yacht for its cruising programme, so longevity is essential.
Relevant sail yacht experience as an engineer is essential with a minimum of 4 years plus on sail yachts over 30m in size.
Must be passionate about sailing and want to work on a sail yacht.
You will be enthusiastic, team player and a keen sailor.
Due to the cruising programme and new build period you will be happy to commit long term to the yacht and you will be in position to cruise the world.
Team player and English first language has been requested by the owner.
You will have excellent references from your past employment and looking for a new build and longevity in your new role.
If you have the relevant experience on sail yacht, knowledge, skills and engineering qualifications we would like to hear from you and meet the above requirements we would like to hear from you.
We require references and referee contacts, up to date CV and please also provide a profile on your sail yacht and engineering experience and confirm your commitment to a new build and world cruising sail yacht.
NO Rotation is on offer for this position but it’s a fantastic opportunity to be part of an excellent team and yacht.
